Pique is a way of weaving the fabric that gives it a very subtle fine ribbing texture. Incorporating pique weave into shirts like the Regatta Contrast Wicking Polo gives it a subtle and luxurious texture which perfectly complements the contrast colours. The fabric of this shirt is made of polyester, a great fabric choice for shirts that see regular use. Polyester is tough, wrinkle resistant, shrink resistant and fast drying. Beyond the qualities of polyester, the Regatta Contrast Wicking Polo has moisture wicking features. Moisture wicking will move sweat from your body to the surface of the fabric where it can evaporate. Moisture wicking will also get rid of any moisture left between the fabric fibers. This is a shirt that will help keep you dry and comfortable – ideal for tropical climates or the heat of summer.
